Hello - newbie here - just 'introduced myself' on the other thread. So first time posting.

We came back late last night from our 5th trip - had the most fab time - again but also a very special experience for our daughter.

She's Snow White mad and on the 4 previous trips we have tried in vain to get a picture with her and autograph, we've never seen her on the meet and greet either.

BUT:banana: this trip Hollie finally had her wish come true and I just wanted to share this with you all. We saw the stars and cars parade for the first time and couldn't believe she was on there. Hollie waved and waved and just as they were about to get onto their cars she came running over to Hollie and spent quite a time chatting to her - she said she had spotted her earlier whilst in the show - (Hollie was wearing her Snow White costume). I have a lovely picture of them together and she wrote in Hollie's autograph book. Later that night at the Fantallusion parade she spotted Hollie in the crowd again and shouted hello Hollie - how amazing for a little 6 year old:love:.

Now I seem to remember reading on here that somebody has a family member that has been cast as Snow White this year at Disney????? I would love to know if this is the same person, she was English and a truely lovely girl. Iam going to write to Disney in praise of her as she really made Hollie's dreams come true and still hasn't stopped talking about it all.

Sorry for such a long first post but I had to share this with you all:hug:

How lovely:lovestruc Its little things like that make a disney trip truely magical isn't it. When we were in Auberge Ariel remembered DD's name and every time she walked past our table addressed her by name. She even shouted bye bye Anna when we left.

Glad you had a great time:goodvibes

Aw that's lovely and yes it does. Bet your DD remembers it still now too.

The Auberge was going to be my last resort at trying to find Snow White but when we asked at City Hall she wasn't going to be there. Maybe she's just not as popular, she is in our house though:yay:

We had a experience like that with the Mad Hatter :lmao:

We met him during the day when DD was sick last year and we then saw him during the parade and he came over to Kyra and said its the beautiful lady from earlier and kissed her hand. I was awww how sweet of him.

Goofy once signed Kyra's book to Kyra love from Goofy and i still have no idea to this day how he knew her name.....Must be the Disney Magic :)

Sounds magical, you were so lucky.
Snow White is one of my DD's favs. I have brought her a Snow White dress for our trip as a surprise so I am hoping we might get lucky.

CRITCHK - fingers crossed you do get lucky too. The best thing is the stars and cars parade - I believe she's on the parade everytime, ask at City Hall they were really helpful. Best place to stand for this is near Stitch live as most characters seemed to be signing autographs / pictures taken round there and didn't come to the front of the stage at all. We watched it twice - once to try and get Snow White and the second in front of the stage to watch the show.:rotfl:

thelittlemermaid - that happened to us the first trip we had - it took me ages to realise that I'd written my sons name in front of his autograph book and he must of read it in there. :rotfl2:

Does anybody know who it was on here with a relative that was going to be Snow White?, I've tried searching the threads but can't find it, will keep looking.

Awww how lovely - it's so magical for them :goodvibes

We must have been lucky and got Snow White & her Prince at Auberge last year when we went. I'm hoping we have different Princesses this time - DD1 has taken a shine to Aurora recently - think it's the pink dress! Although Cinderella is her favourite. I never thought to ask which Princesses will be at our meal - good idea - mind you we can't change our reservation really as we can only make it one day anyway!

We had the reverse happen to us though as also while at Auberge, Eric (Ariel's beau) told DD1 he would watch out for her at the parade later that day, and of course she remembered! So when the parade came around she was expecting Eric to wave etc and it was a different Eric!!! Yikes! She wasn't too upset (obv didn't notice he was different) but she did ask why he didn't wave to her when we was shouting and shouting !! :rolleyes1

ETA - I recall the Snow White friend post too but I thought it was going to be later in the year??? Can't remember who it was either sorry!

Could have been me...my beautiful god daughter (and cousin) is working at the park at the mo. If you can post the pic I can tell you if it is her. I did spot a pic of her in someones trip report the other day but I can't seem to find it now - if I do I'll post the link.

LINK ADDED - Not the one I spotted the other day when she was on the stage in the Studios but one of her first appearances with her prince - half way down the report (thanks Scampbunny)

We saw an English Snow White in Auberge 3 weeks ago, and she was lovely with my DS. (She also went down a treat with me too, as did all the princesses, but I'm straying a bit OT now ... ahem!) :thumbsup2

Have to say I disagree with the food at Auberge being yuck - it was the best quality meal we had. Limited choice, but excellent food, very different, and was gobsmacked that DS (who is the worlds fussiest eater!) ate lots

The Snow White for Stars n Cars was different though - not sure if she was English or not, but still got her autograph too.

On names in autograph books, a few characters looked to see Alasdair's name at the front of his book - the best one was Chip who signed the book with 'To Alasdair, from your best friend Chip!' which made his day.

I think great character moments can make your trip.

My DD was only just 3 when we went 2 years ago and does remember all that much. The one think she does remember though was pluto taking her autograph pen and rather than signing her book, turned round and wrote his name and her name in a big heart on the window he was standing in front of in the Studios:rotfl:
She was so shocked that Pluto knew her name (it was on the front of her book) and was naughty enough to write on the window.
She has spent the past 2 years telling everyone Pluto loves her. Can't help but feel she may be a bit disappointed though when we go back and his bit of graffiti has gone!:cutie:

    ruthie..... glad u found it!!
yes, above mentioned snow white was very lovely!!!!!

and we had similar with cinderella & her prince - they spent ages talking to the boys, and said they would look out for them in the parade......
the parade came, and prince charming spotted us, and pointed us out to cinderella and they got special waves etc!!! also, in the same parade, beauty and her prince (no, not the beast - it was her prince) were the same ones we had also met (just before cinderella) and they too remembered the boys, and beauty stroked ds1s cheek!!!!!!!!!

moments like that do make the childrens dreams come true - doesnt take much, but means everything to the children!!

I love it when stuff like this happens!! We had similar experience on our recent trip. We waited at stage while Ariel was signing, but just before my daughters turn it changed to Belle. Now this was no problem as my DD loves them both. But before she left the stage, Ariel gave a big smile and goodbye to my DD, who was about to go up the steps.

She met Belle, who addressed her by name (????) and remembered that she was Irish.

The next day at Stars and Cars parade we watched the show from almost head on. At the end, Ariel made a bee line for my daughter, telling her she was sorry she missed her the day before and crouching down to sign her book and chat.

Loving all your stories, it really is magic:wizard:

Just been to the post office and sent my letter off to praise her. Hollie insisted on drawing a pic and popping it in the letter too, expect they get a lot but hopefully will put a smile on somebodys face:love:
