Smoked Salmon - Akershus vs. Rose and Crown

Anyone know if the smoked salmon at Akershus (on the buffet) is the same as the smoked salmon at Rose and Crown? Dh mentioned going to Akershus for the salmon, but I'd rather just have him get it at Rose & Crown if it's the same (it'd be a lot cheaper).
 
Unless it has changed, I think Akershus has gravlax (cured salmon) not smoked and I would assume it is from Norway, not Scotland.
 
Thanks! I have no idea the difference - I don't even like salmon.

Curing and smoking are two old ways of preserving meats before there was refrigeration.

Curing uses salt and sugar to pull out the moisture and smoking cures the meat with smoke heat. I love salmon in all forms :)
 


I have had the salmon at multiple Disney restaurant locations and they all are good..
