The days inn right down the road is where we stayed. It is indoor corridors and an indoor pool.

The Ramada is now a Holiday Inn. It is a decent hotel...typical Holiday Inn. It does have an indoor pool and hot tub plus video games and mini-golf (sort of). The restaraunt is one of the "Kids Eat Free" with adult meal purchase ones which is nice. The breakfast with Bugs is a buffet that is not part of the Kids Eat Free program. There is a shuttle to and from the parks that runs most of the day (driver takes a 30 minute lunch and dinner break). This saves on parking and allows you to come back to the hotel for an afternoon rest if needed. Also, be sure and wear your swimsuits if the kids like to swim as the water park is inside the theme park and is included in your admission. Also, the hotel sells discount tickets to it's guests which are a really good deal on the 2 day passes and an okay deal on the one-day.

we go every July and stay at this hotel and spend two days at the parks. (I do have some coupons for 1 day tickets if you need them...let me know.

If your staying for longer for 1 day and doing other St. Louis attractions, like downtown area. You might want to consider staying closer to the city. I'm not sure what downtown hotels are going far, but just across the river in Caseyville IL(10 min from St Louis), rooms are about $50, or Fairview Heights IL(about 15 min from St Louis) rooms are about the same. The drive from these locations to Six Flags are about 35-45 min.

If you want to stay downtown for any reason, try the Renaissance suites. The hotel was built to serve the convention center, but convention business fell off and the hotel is too big too fill without convention traffic. They
are desperate for guests and have been having some incredible specials.

That's where we stayed in 6/2004.

We got to eat breakfast with bugs, unfortunately it wasn't the Bugs that TENIA66 and coinkc are talking about. :scared1:

If you are going to be in St. Louis for a few days there are tons of things to do. Take a ride up in the Arch. There is a museum in the leg of the Arch if you do not want to ride up. The St. Louis Zoo is wonderful. The Science Museum in Forest Park if good. The zoo is located in Forest Park also. There is Grants Farm where the Clydsdales for Anheuser Busch are stabled. The Hill area has fabulous Italian food. Old St Charles on the Missouri riverfront has cobblestone streets and lots of shops and resturants. Take a look at our new stadium for our STL Cardinals. The kids would love any of this.
