We are looking into staying at disney for 10 days and nine nights...how many sit down meals are we allowed? 10 character meals or nine?

    Thanks!

You get one table service and one counter service per night on the dining plan.

With nine nights you'll have nine TS credits on the regular dining plan. You can use them all on character meals if you wish. You can also do additional meals and pay OOP if you want too.

You can do 9 one credit TS meals (if you are on the regular plan). It goes by nights not days.
Just note that Cinderella's castle meal in MK will be 2 credits; so if you do that one then you will only be allowed to have 8 Table Service meals, assuming you only wanted to do character meals since that is what you asked. & assuming you are on the regular meal plan.
You can do as many as you want, you would just have to pay out of pocket for the others.

For the dining plan it is based on how many nights you stay. So on the regular plan it would be 9 TS credits per person, on the deluxe it would be 27 meal credits per person. and yes, you can use them all on character meals if you want. Note the previous poster indicating that CRT is two credits, so if you choose CRT you'll have seven TS credits left on the regular plan to spend after that.
