This is my first cruise and I would love to get some ideas on how to decorate our cabin door. Can you show me some pics?
Thanks!

OMG these are amazing!! I had no idea, I better get working on this! only 62 more days until my cruise! LOL Absolutely crazy yet so much fun at the same time. DH will think I am nuts.

Lets see more!

Look what we did for our trip at Christmas 2007 in the Disney Magic, we made prints on regular letter size paper with a small regular inkjet printer EPSON Stylus Photo, and hit back a couple of strips of magnets. This saved me a lot of time and money :cool1:.

Look what was the result:

Hey, this will be my first time posting a pic on here...aren't you lucky?!:lmao:

First, I want to thank millipie and jordak (I hope I didn't miss anyone) for their shared designs!!

Some of the magnets I created myself, like this one::)

The mickey pirate hat was the first one I'd created, hence the tip missing, LOL! Once I got the hang of it, it was so fun! We also got magnets as FE gifts (which I am going to do for our recipients next time). I forgot to take a pic with ALL the magnets on the door after the cruise was over. It was a lot of fun making the magnets and decorating our door and makes it easier to pick your room out in the long hallways!!

As you can see, I added a dry erase board so people could leave messages, but I think next time I will do that but additional sticky notes so I won't feel the guilt of erasing people's messages again. (I did take pics of that too though.)

The magnet I made with the "You are here" I printed out a separate pic of the Magic and miniaturized it. I stuck a magnet on the back of it and used it to 'mark' on the map where the boat was. Others caught on and would make sure the Magic was in its proper place on the map if we were on an 'at sea' day.

Here is a funny question, How big is the stateroom number circle thingee? I want to make a hat for it but the dimensions would be great!

Thank you to everyone for sharing pictures and links. This will give our family a great place for ideas.:grouphug:
