ROFR nearly always takes around 30 days, Disney doesn't want to make it too easy for people to buy resale. If they make it just annoying enough, some people will opt to purchase direct.

Good luck with your ROFR pixiedust:

brilliance! It is totally worth their while to do that; make it inconvenient and unpredictable. My mother (normally super frugal) said she would always be direct because of that, so I know it will work on a segment of the world that are 'play it safe' types.

I tried to make an offer on a BWV listing that I saw for $67 per point. I began a conversation with the listing agent about offering a higher price per point asking the owner to pay the closing costs in return. This was to try to insure passing ROFR. The listing agent said that was fine, but the contract has been sold.

Why would you do that ? Ill tell you this in general anyone that wants to raise there price after a deal is made , I walk . No matter what .

Edit I just read the thread . I wouldn't raise you price as the buyer , from what I herd the price isn't the factor in ROFR .

I think you may have it backwards.....

Really if I give more money to the seller I would think they would be happy, as they are getting more money from me the buyer....:)
