Short cut from AKL to 192 westbound?

Can anyone tell me if there is an easy short cut from AKL to the 192 westbound, or is it necessary to go east to World Drive and drop down to the 192?

Sherberth Road (sp?) is the road that takes you from AK/AKL to Rt. 192.
