DH and DD16 are doing the Campo Rico Ziplining Adventure and Kayak excursion. Any suggestions on what kind of shoes would be best? It seems to me that the type of shoe one would wear kayaking is very different from what is needed for a hike through the rainforest.

I did the rainforest hike in El Junque 2 weeks ago. I wore hiking sandals. They were perfect for the rainy hike in the forest and I was able to wade in them in the pool beneath the waterfall as well. I think they would work well for kayaking as well. :)

I wore old asics running shoes. It rained that AM and a bit of the uphill parts were slippery as was the first bridge you had to cross but they were fine.
