Has anyone had any expreience with sending a package from home to the resort with drinks in them??

I've read other posts about ordering water from like Staples.com, and having the order shipped to the resort. And posts about shipping snacks, diapers, clothing, you name it!!

But I'm wondering about shipping other drinks, like Gatorade &/or soda.
I'm sure it would need to be ground shipped in multiple smaller boxes because of the weight. But I wonder if anyone has done this and with any success, as in no blown cans of soda!!! :teeth:

I haven't personally done it yet but I plan on using a grocery delivery service for some water and snacks this trip. There have been a lot of recommendations of companies to use.

I agree with p2oh; I'd reccomend using a grocery delivery service. A lot of DISers rave about gardengrocer.com. They are reasonably priced, and you don't have to worry about shipping drinks in the mail.

    Have a magical vacation!

while i havent done it yet, i have asked the same question about shipping from home to the resorts and am told that you can do so, i suggest calling your resort for the mailing info you will need, i will be mailing a box of goods in advance of our arrival at akl in sept, and think its a great idea to cut down on the amount of stuff we will be carrying with us on our flight there

    Thanks for all the advice.

We have thought about grocery service to some point.
But will still ship other items to cut down on the load.
