So, I've just started to experience allergy symptoms for the season. I went to the drugstore to purchase Claritin-D (or something similar) and discovered that I cannot purchase it for approximately one month because I bought sinus medication recently. (I live in a state that restricts the sale of medications that could be used to produce meth.) Argh. :(

Any suggestions on how to manage my symptoms without taking a product containing a decongestant? I absolutely can't take anything that would cause drowsiness.

    Thanks!

Try Allegra or regular Claritin. They may tame the symptoms enough to not need the decongestant part.

Take the reg. Claritin and then get a script for a nose spray from your PCP. I am doing Flonanse. I can't take allergy tablets as they are too drying for me.

Here where we live we can't even purchase Claritin-D, Sudafed, etc. (anything with pseudoephedrine) OTC without a prescription.
