I think the Sci-fi dine in theatre looks pretty cool , but my DH is in a wheelchair and must stay in it. Do they have 'cars' with spaces for wheelchairs or any regular tables for us to use?

Not bothered really if we cannot eat here but it would be strange for Disney not to consider this, hopefully someone can shed some light.

    Thanks

There are tables that have regular chairs at Sci Fi, as opposed to the slide in bench seats. Then they could just move a chair and your husband would roll up.

Here’s a picture from allearsnet. com that shows the cars that have chairs.

We ate here a couple of years ago and my dad is in a wheelchair and had a lovely meal here, they did just move a chair out the way. They staff were brilliant.

Where do the park or how do they handle ECVs for those that can walk short distances?

In general there will be plenty of stroller parking areas outside of shops, rides and restraunts. You can park there and walk in. If there is not a designated stroller parking area, just park it out of the way. There will be plenty of ECVs and strollers around to show you where.

Take your key, but don't be suprised if your ECV has been moved somewhat. As strollers and ECVs come and go, CMs will move things around to neaten up and compact. There's a lever on your ECV that will let them put it into neutral and push it where it needs to go. Tie a bright scarf on the arm or basket, or put a pillowcase over the seat back to make it easier to pick out your ECV.
