school shopping sequel...how I did at the resale shop

Today I took DD#2 and DS to the local resale shop. I bought
for DS:
2 pair of jeans--one blue and one khaki
3 long sleeved shirts
1 winter coat ($12)
for DD#2:
1 pair of jeans
1 long sleeved shirt
1 hoodie (mickey mouse!)
1 capri/tank top outfit
The total? $51!!! And without the coat we are under $40!
I love buying jeans there. Just hope the new "teen" resale shop in town will have some good buys for 11 year old DD#1.

Wow, you did well..

The goodwill here is too high.. they still want $3/$4 for a pair of shorts.. I can get them clearnce at Target for $3.24 new!

I got some new things at Kmart.. including new denim shorts (wrangler/and other cool ones) for $1 to $2 each..


I;ll go to the clothing exchange, but I won't buy anything from the Goodwill

salvation Army has kids clothes for 99cents. and i have found some great clothes, when kids grow out of clothes so fast the SA is worth it.

My oldest is wearing on in the picture below.

we are on a limited income right now since my husband is on disability, and so is my oldest child.

My husband is going to school, and keep fingers crossed in two years if all of his test remain negitivem, he can get disability. and get back to are regular income.
