Rules on cancel

What happens to your points if you cancel? What are the key times that things change? For some reason I think it is 60 days before the arrival but I don't know.
 
If you cancel less than 31 days out the points will go into holding. Holding points need to be used before the end of your UY or they will expire. You can only book reservations up to 60 days ahead of time with points in holding.

If you cancel 31+ days ahead of time the points will be returned. If you are after your banking deadline they will need to be used prior to the end of your UY. If you are still within your banking window and the points are current UY you could still bank them if you wished. If the points were banked or borrowed then they still need to be used prior to the end of your UY.

*Cancelling a reservation 31 or more days prior to check-in:
All Vacation Points used to make the reservation will be restored to your account in the Use Year in which the reservation falls.


*Cancelling a reservation 30 days-1 day prior to check-in:
All the Vacation Points used to make the reservation will be placed in the Holding Account in the Use Year in which the reservation falls.


*Cancelling a reservation on the check-in date:
All the Vacation Points used to make the reservation will be forfeited.
