Has anyone stayed at the Rosen Centre on International Drive near Universal? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Even though my plans have changed 100 times, I will be using my reservation at the Rosen Centre, May 5th- May 12th.

So, I will be able to give everyone a full trip report when I come home.

I will review everything! There are alot of inquiring minds, and most people who have stayed here already have given the hotel positive feedback. I will give everyone a fresh report in about a month! :)

If you go to WWW.ROSENCENTRE.COM you can take a virtual tour of the hotel. I just did it again, and now I'm really excited. You can see the pool area, that looks fabulous, the lobby, the restaurants. It looks really nice!

Am really looking forward to your trip report!!Would you please let me know if there are hair dryers and coffee makers in the rooms.I need to know what to pack...I know there is probably coffee in the shop downstairs, but I like to have mine before I leave the room :) Thanks!!

I just returned from a one night stay at the Rosen. I'm sorry to say but I wasn't impressed. We were on the 16th floor with a great view. Yes, there are hair dryers and coffee pots in the room. My complaints were: hard bed, musty smell in the room, broken fire alarm with a wash cloth draped over it, and wet carpet in front of the air conditioner. I called the front desk and told them about the AC and she said okay she's make a note of it and I told her about the fire alarm and she said they knew that it was broken. Since we were only there one night we didn't ask for a different room, but I think these things should have been fixed before the room was given out. The room # was 1633 just in case you get it. I'm sure the other rooms are nice. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. For 40 bucks it was a deal.

Crystalwv,

Say it isn't so! I'm just devastated by your post! I know that all the rooms may not be like the one you had, but come on, what kind of hotel rents out a room with a leaking a/c, wet carpet, and a broken fire alarm covered with a wet wash cloth?

Did you receive your $40.00 deal also through Priceline? I have ressies there for 1 week, $35.00 per night also through Priceline. 2 adults/1-3 year old and 1 baby. I really don't want to use the hotel now. Just to think that my baby would be crawling around on that floor!
