What room request should I make at Pop Century? I do love the 80s, but I also want to be close to stuff, like the bus stop, or the good pool...

Pay the extra for a preferred room. Those rooms are closest to the center of things, something I wish I had done when I stayed there

We always request to stay in the 70's (we also like the top floor)....it's close to the main building, but yet it seems like it is secluded away from the other sections and overlooks the lake. I do believe it was a preferred room. When we went in December, they didn't have any rooms in the 70's open and we had to stay in the 60's (top floor). It was really close to the main building but the room seemed smaller, had two double beds instead a two queens and it didn't have a coffee maker in it.

The 70s location is a great option: close to transportation and dinning, while still be 'quiet' due to no pool in it's courtyard. Our request would probably read:

Building 6, Lake View.

There are standard room options in the 60s section as well... so we my add building 5 to our request as an additional option.

Building 5 or 6, Lake View.

Here's a sample of what online check-in would like that. You can see this guest requested 'Lake View' and 'Near Transportation'.

I don't think preferred is worth the money. We have stayed in all areas and love the 80's/90's for convenience to busses, 70's for quiet, 60's for close to Classic Hall, and 50's for the lake views :P

My perfect room would be lake view, 4th floor, in the 60's or 50's...close to bridge to AoA.

Thanks everyone. So, where are the bus stops then? Is there a map somewhere with the buildings labeled?

Agree with thr others that 70s is a great choice. We do this with a lake view request for a bit more quiet. Plus it is right by the food court and transportation too. I've avoided 50s and 60s for fear of pool noise
