On day 28, I have been told by the agency Disney has replied directly to the agent I have been working with......................... he will not be in till later in the afternoon.

I either start over or the various steps in the closing process that takes the most time begins

False alarm. Agent states does not yet have answer from Disney and this area of Disney is closed today. So the earliest I could possibly have an answer is on Monday, the 31st day from ROFR submission.

This thread can be an invaluable tool for buyers looking for some help when researching the most up-to-date prices for DVC contracts on the resale market, so I encourage everyone to post their contracts when they are sent to Disney, no matter if they are big, small, or in-between !

Just a reminder if you post your details: I need your username---resort-# of points-UY-cost per point- total cost including MF, closing, etc.- #/14, #15, #16 and so on- date sent- any other details (seller pays MF, etc.)

Then come back and post whether you passed or not. Or I will chase you down! Just kidding. But, in the spirit of helping everyone who uses this thread as a resource, please do let us know whether or not Disney waived your contract so that the data is complete.

To give you an update on my SSR ROFR submission:

Agent states does not yet have answer from Disney and this area of Disney is closed today. So the earliest I could possibly have an answer is on Monday, the 31st day from ROFR submission.

I was notified this evening that Disney did exercise their ROFR on my contract.

Back to the drawing board. I wish I understood their logic. Many contracts posted that passed are much better than this one. Oh well.

I read that when the ROFR doesn't make sense...it could be the unit #. I don't completely understand the reasoning behind it but I did read that it's a thing.

Ahhhh nuts. Sorry to hear that. I don't understand the rhyme or reason they choose to exercise or waive rofr. This makes me nervous.

It stinks, but the past couple of months, they've been using the entire 30 days for those properties they're taking back. And if they're waiving ROFR, they notify within 10 days to two weeks.

Just out of curiosity does the estoppel really take 30 days?

Our title company had estoppel 2 days after passing ROFR and we had closing docs 5 days after that

Mine was:

I had $82- 160 pts MAR SSR full points in 16 and 17. Still haven't heard back. I'm guessing they took it while people were off for Thanksgiving.
