I apologize if this was asked before but is Tiffin's scheduled to open when RoL does?

I wonder if they're taking characters away and/or doing the "closet" thing for dinner only. I have a dinner and lunch time booked, and the dinner says "Tusker House Restaurant Dinner" while breakfast and lunch say "Donald's Dining Safari...." I read characters were present at every meal--has the dinner previously said "Donald's Safari..." ?

We may do a Tusker Houe earliest lunch and try for a Flame Tree dinner in that case. FT may not have as great of seating as the TH/Tiffins package but still better than standing..

I want to say that TH previously did not have characters at dinner. Maybe the name was just never updated!?

I always used this picture on the SWW thread when we were all waiting for packages and character dining to open, this thread reminds me very much of that one...

Red five standing by :). Can't believe no one claimed Luke yet.

I'm sorry to ask what is surely a repeat question, but I can't find the answer. Does anyone know if you need to pre-pay for this package if not on DDP?
I will be trying to book a reservation for 9 tomorrow, and I'm hoping to not have to tie up that much but will if I have to. Thank you:duck:

No official word yet. I'm hoping it's like Fantasmic but you never know

You do not have to prepay at H&V for a F! package so most likely not. But seeing how it's not bookable yet I'm not sure anyone one can say with 100% certainty what they'll do

Just to tag along, IF they offer any preview packages, those will likely have to be pre-paid. I would think they will handle this like any special dining event.

I really don't understand how CMs have such vastly different information. It's like they're not even working for the same company. Either way, damn straight I'll be up at 7 am tomorrow calling some poor cast member who would rather do anything than talk ROL with me lol. I feel like the amount of sleep we have all lost over this is worth like a free dinner or something.. one can hope! ;D

Yes, without a doubt they are prepay. I thought PP was asking about dining packages but I could have very well misunderstood

It's something I've never understood either.
I worked in a company that had phone agents. We had a single database we read from to get our info we gave out.
That way every single agent provided the caller with the same exact info.
And this was 20 years ago.
I know damn well Disney can do the same. Why they don't I have no idea.
