Hey...what's this? This TR is still going?:confused3

How old do they have to be before they're willing to do the dirty work for you? I need to get my kids to start pulling their weight.

Nice work. I'd be thrilled with that score.

Sure looks like it to me! :thumbsup2

    I'm guessing back to DHS.

    See? :rotfl2:

Doth mine eyes deceive me or is this an actual update?? Well, I guess that's a perk of having been gone off the DIS for months, only one update to catch up on! Thanks Marvie.;)

Eek, that's a little too crowded for me.:scared:

Nice! That lifeguard card is from Old Maid isn't it?

Well, that's to be expected. I hear gross motor skills deteriorate with age...:p

    Aw.

    Good work Nancy Drew!

I still don't understand all this spoon referencing. Is that what Ali uses to keep you in line, a good smack with a spoon??:confused3

Love all of these!! Drew is adorable Marv.:goodvibes

Well, if that isn't the a clear example of the pot calling the kettle black...:stir:

I have no idea where you head next but goodness knows it'll be about six months before you share it here.:teeth:

Great update! I guess Drew was just still young enough to have fun with the meet & greet. Seems like you were able to share some quality time together in that line.

I guess I must check out that shop on my next visit, I spotted a nice t-shirt behind you when you were trying on that "hat". Even though one cannot call it a hat, it does suit you very well! ;):rotfl:

How strange that they have eliminated rope drop now at all parks besides the MK (at least that was the latest I heard...) I wonder how it will be to just walk through the gates without any ceremony or so...

Wow - great shots in TSM. You did get lots of great details! Impressive!

And top notch scores too, I might add. I think I need lessons from you!

Okay...I'm back off the floor. But after reading the update, I may end up right back on the floor. All that time for an update, and that's all we get? One attraction, one hat and a character meet and greet? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Seriously, congrats on your highest score ever! But Mark would seriously kick your butt and you would kick mine. :rotfl:

Thanks for the shout out to Mark with the hat (looking good:thumbsup2); love the spoon tribute to Rosie.

Hmmm, you sound familiar with his work........ :rolleyes1

I agree. There are some really neat toys there, and every time I look at some of them, it almost seems like I had at least something similar as a child. That Prospector's Dynamite game just seems familiar, but I'm guessing it was the Hot Potato game I had like it.

    Fortnight? This isn't Wimbledon.......

We had a good time, and yes I remember you holding the sign.......you just reposted it a few days ago!!! Is that dementia kicking in again??? :confused3

Yes, but they are a lot bigger than I imagined!!! :rotfl:

Nothing to rule on.......no real update!!! :sad2:

Thanks! And yes, that queue IS a lot of fun! You need to make sure you do it next time! :thumbsup2

Apparently my TR isn't for the feint of heart and those older people who are susceptible to blackout spells. ;)

Uh Huh! I knew you read ahead!!! :lmao:

    You neeeeeever know!!!

Yes, that must be an interesting change. I guess you will know soon! :thumbsup2

Thanks Mary Ellen but I think I would take the lessons from Jonathan if I were you.......

Hey, some things you just CAN'T forget!!! :goodvibes

Yes, but Drew left the bad smells to Stinky Pete! :rotfl:

Okay Rosie, see what happens when you quote and do replies to Dan???? :lmao:

What a nice surprise to find a Marv Elous update this morning! :cool1: First I've seen the TS inside queue so the photos are a nice peek! Me thinks a picture of Rosie with the spoons is a must on her next visit.

Not having young ones the last several years, and not being much of a fan of animation, have only seen a few Disney movies since Beauty and the Beast....on, wait, I saw Monsters Inc...Lion King...is Up a Disney film? Geez, I'm getting old...although last night Rosie did say now that we have reached 65 we have until at least 82!!! :woohoo:

Love all the photos, Marv! :goodvibes

What's this about no more rope drop?! Longer lines at the gates? :faint:

Chapter 15 – Back to DHS (continued)

After our Character Meet with Buzz and Woody, our FP window was open so we grabbed another set of FPs for TSMM before heading off. The boys decided they wanted to do Star Tours next before heading to the other side of the park and having to backtrack so much. I'm guessing all of the heat during this trip was either starting to get to them, or make them a little wiser about planning all the walking to tour the parks. As we walked I stopped them long enough to get this picture. Maybe this is how the revelation came to them about reducing all the walking in the heat..........

We stopped long enough to get a couple of shots as we cut through the Streets of America. I really like this sign!!! Always seems like a great idea to me....... :cool1:

Where would you like to go next Andrew???

We reached Star Tours and the wait was about 15 minutes, so we joined the Standby line hoping the estimate was fairly accurate.

There wasn’t a very long line at all and we were soon a Star Tours passenger. :goodvibes After helping safely transport the Rebel spy, we headed off for a limo ride and to check out a hotel we had been hearing about. The crowds were starting to build and I was hoping that we were heading in the right direction and most of the people I could see ahead were about to vacate the area.

We arrived at RnRC and opted for riding Single Rider.

While we were in line, I got a text from Alison that she had gotten her some breakfast and was on the way to join us. The boys wanted to ride ToT next even though the wait time was around 30 minutes. I decided to work my way back towards the center of the park to get up with Alison when she arrived. On the way I stopped to catch some of the sights. This street performer was doing something akin to the (in)famous shell game and tricks with cards, entertaining a group of people. :scratchin

When I got back near Mickey’s Hat, I saw these guys doing greets.

After Alison arrived, and the boys met back up with us I decided to let her and the boys use the FPs we had collected and I would head back to OKW. I had enough already as it was starting to get hot, so I was thinking a visit to the pool might be appropriate. We still had a busy afternoon scheduled so a break sounded really good to me! :thumbsup2

I never knew that the characters have "Hollywood" outfits at DHS. The chipmunks look cute - I think I need to put this on the list for the next trip: look at the characters at DHS!

I think that was a good call to head back to the resort to relax. After all that's the beauty of owning DVC: to know that the parks will be there again on the next visit! I guess Pat would agree with me here! :goodvibes

I hope you have some OKW pool pictures coming up next! I am kind of falling more and more for OKW and definitely can see a stay there in my future... But then I think the only DVC resort I would rule out at the moment is SSR (even though I can see some positives about that as well) - and I am not sure that I would really want to stay at the new GF DVC (is that going to be GFV? Or VGF?), just not my style...

The heat sure feels like that...

:faint: Now I am struggling to keep up with you too?

August= lots of pool time :thumbsup2

I really need to slow down and take in those Streetmosphere skits.

Looking forward to the DVC thing. I tried to go to one but they were cancelling them, but I did get the swag...

good update marv, have never seen that card trick guy out there before, in fact we never pay much attention to the street performers on the roads there, will have to look more next trip.

hey i decided that he gets enough negative from everyone else:rolleyes1 that i would be positive and tell him that it was his best update of the year so far without the obviouse his only reply of the year.:goodvibes
