Reservation/wait list question

I had a reservation for two nights at the VGC on 12/2 and 12/3 and waitlisted 12/1. The waitlist came through but it shows up as a separate reservation. Does this mean we will have to change rooms within the resort after the first night, or can the reservations be merged? I appreciate anybody's comments!

If they are for the same room size, they should be linked and you won't have to move.

Thanks! It is for a studio all three nights. Do I need to call and ask that they be linked or is that done automatically?

Most likely they were linked but I'd still call to verify.
