Just wondering if a dress shirt and no tie will be adequate for DH to wear at our Remy brunch on the Dream. I know that a jacket isn't required for brunch.

    I'm not 18 but I wouldn't risk it.

A jacket IS required for brunch at Remy but a tie is not. I saw several folks with a jacket over a polo type shirt when I did brunch on the 3/9 sailing. I highly recommend it!!!

A jacket is required for dinner but not for brunch.

The following is copied from http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ships-activities/ships/fantasy/dining/remy/

    Brunch Dress Code
During the Remy Champagne Brunch, dress pants and a shirt are required for men. A jacket is optional for Brunch. Women's attire requires a dress or pantsuit. Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, sandals, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

For dinner, a jacket is definitely required.

    Dinner Dress Code
A dress code is enforced during dinner.
•Men: A jacket (such as a sports, suit or tuxedo jacket) is required, with dress pants/slacks and shoes. Ties are optional. Please no jeans, shorts, sandals, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

Dress pants and A shirt doesn't even sound like it needs to be a shirt that would go with a tie. Sounds like it could be a polo, etc. Otherwise it would be "dress pants and shirt". Putting the "a" in there messes up the clarity of the statement (unless that's exactly what they mean..."a shirt").

the wording could be better. Since they specify no jeans, tennies, etc, I'm surprised they didn't mention t-shirts.
