Refrigerating Perishables prior to check-in?

We'll be arriving Jan 9th around 11:00 am and using a towncar with a grocery stop. I know the hotels will store your luggage and that the deluxes and moderates have refrigerators in them, but if the room is not ready when you arrive, will the hotel keep perishables cold until you can get in your room?

I know the DVC resorts have refrigerators in the baggage room.

I know they do for medicines , don't know bout groceries, you should call
to find out.

When we pick up our groceries, we also purchase a sytrofoam (cheap) cooler. We don't get a frig either. Every morning or evening my husband fills it back up with ice. It's easy and cheap!

We stayed at POR in June. We arrived at 10am and checked some luggage and our perishables at the baggage room. They have a refrigerator.
