On other websites I've seen the refillable mugs a different size than my puny one from last year that I got at ASSp. Do they sell different sizes or are they all the same size, but just different designs?

The Resort Refillable Mugs are all the same size, and since 2007 (I think) the same design. I think the mug holds 12-14 ozs. There are refillable mugs in the water parks that are close in size (volume wise), but look different. There are mugs that are sold in the parks that are not refillable. Well, technically, they are refillable, just not free.

The resort mugs are all the same size and still the design they had last year. The one with the design all the way to the bottom, the tapered one.

I do not believe that is the current mug. I will look for a picture but the mug no longer has the white base. It does hold a little less than the mug with the white bottom.

Just back from Disney and this is not the current mug - this one is the one that was offered in early 2009.
In late 2009 they offered the one in top picture in safetymom's link - with the printing all the way to the bottom which is the one that is still being offered.

Just for the record, the short/squat mugs.. like so..

Typically contained the same amount of liquid as the tall skinny ones. It was a total 'big gulp fakeout' .. there was a large 'space' between the interior walls and exterior walls of the mug.

You're not missing any soda with either mug :)

I like the look of the blue Donald mug better than the red Mickey.

I don't suppose that is the refillable mug being sold this year?

That mug WAS sold at the Pepper Market at Coronado SPrings -- not sure if it still is.

That's the only location with that mug tho in recent years.

bummer that CSR now uses the same mugs as everyone else. we love our pepper market mug (and DS loves that it has Donald on it)!

in fact, because it was different from the generic one is WHY we bought it. we normally don't do the refillable mugs. we also bought a mug at pizza planet years ago (not refillable, but similar in style). i don't even know if they still have those since we skipped there on our last trip.

I know they don't have them anymore, but anyone remember when CSR used to offer the two different sized mugs? Several years ago they had the regular mug like all the other resorts, but then they had a giant jumbo sized one. I think it was like $20.00 maybe, but totally worth it if you drank alot of soda and didn't want to keep making repeat trips back to the main building to refill your mug.:rotfl: Wished they still offered those bigger mugs!
