Thank you, everyone! I am much better. Did not to risk an extra air travel before the TA.

Bobbi, I'm sorry you're not going but at least you will be well rested for the TA cruise.

Talking about the DISmeet, I mentioned to Fran that you were planning on picking up some pre cut watermelon. She offered to cut up a watermelon if you just want to buy a whole one.

Also in our parts of the country grocery stires run their specials from Wednesday through Tuesday. Watching the news this morning I saw that one of the local chains has tri tip on sale for $3.49 per lb. That's the lowest price I've seen all year, so we're going to pick up several. I think with a dozen of us, I'll want to make two. I'll also need to practice cooking them on a charcoal BBQ without a lid, using tin foil to tent it.

    More tasty experiments!

I would be happy to cut up, if you just let me into your kitchen! I will also look at other fruit!
This barbecue is really a highlight for me! It makes me feel DVC is a home!
Happy cooking!! I've been invited to a friend's home for dinner, and am baking an apple pie to bring! Yummy...good food here and at your place!:thumbsup2

I've got a recipe for chocolate self saucing pudding that can be done in the microwave or oven. Been wondering if we should put that on the table or if it just easier to get cake from a store. :rotfl:

I'll add you to the list. :thumbsup2

The breakfast on Thursday 3rd October is at Cape May, 8 am.

The cookout is for Saturday 5th October. We are looking at the Quiet Pool at BCV as there are BBQ facilities there. Time....hmm. I think we were waiting to see what happens with Food and Wine as there might be a special event that Alison wants to get to. But it will be for dinner.

    Thanks princess:

Aside from those plans ( has nothing to do with the 10/3 ADR) talking to Fred trying to plan things is so hard in advance with his job. Will probably put in request for him to be home beginning the 4th

He is VERY up for MNSSHP ...has never experienced it, think he may want to jump right in at the 4 pm time for party though & not LTT will talk more when he gets home next week (kind of understand spend hours/days/weeks/months on his butt in a truck may not want to sit & eat he's a grab a hot dog & go kind of guy)

It's not LTT for dinner. It's Tony's. Let me know. I can always cancel the ressie if needed.

    Hi!

I'm especially looking forward to breakfast since we decided not to do RR on Thursday. Is there a chance Nancy can be added to the breakfast? If not, I think she would be willing to just show up with us on Thursday, and hope to be seated.

I just found out that the Monday & Tuesday after I leave are designated reading days at school and so no classes! Shucks, I already have plane tix, but will try to change to stay later, knowing I would have to move. I hope SSR has a room for us. Going to check on fares.

I'm planning on calling Disney at some stage for MNSSHP tix; so I'll check about adding Nancy to breakfast. I currently have a table for 7; and if nothing else, I expect if she showed up on the Thursday, we should be okay. I won't call today; Free Dining was released so it will be bedlam in the Magical world at the moment.

YAY for the extra time at Disney. I'm checking out on that Monday and heading to UO for the two nights.

    Ruthie,
PIO answered most of your questions, but I leave on the 7th, not the 9th.

PIO, Tiffany was bringing some desserts. Brownies and rice krispy treats I think.

Seems to me if we need something else I would think a veggie side. I'm making a cucumber and tomato salad, but that and the potabellas are the only veggies. I don't know maybe we're just fine.

Bobbi, of course you can use my kitchen. We will try not to trash the room too badly.
