I am planning our Feb 2014 trip and we were last at WDW in 2009, My DD remembers our lunch/ dinner wihen Remy from
Ratatoulle came around to the tables. She wants to go back again. Does anyone know if Remy still appears and if so around what times?

    Thanks!

While It's been a few months since we last were there, he was there then. We had dinner around 6:30pm.

Per the Disney website, Remy makes rounds 4 times a day, 6 days a week.
It says for information for "Bon Appetit from Chef Remy" times to call them at (407) 939-3463 (which is also the reservation line).

Can anyone who has been to Chefs recently tell me the times that Remy is there?

I have a ADR for 4:30pm on a Tuesday. Previous threads have said that Remy is there every day EXCEPT Sunday, and that one of the times is around 5pm. I figured booking a 4:30 would almost ensure us being able to see him.

If the times have changed, I may need to reschedule my ADR :scratchin

Thanks for sharing the info from the website. It has been so long between my visits that I didn't think to check the website since the info there was very basic in 2009

It sounds like my DD isn't the only one who wants to see Remy! It sounds like your 4:30 time might be just right. It will give you some leeway in getting seated before Remy makes his appearance.

    REMY Info:

    1) Inside Les Chefs de France.
    2) Monday-thru-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
    3) Visiting
. . . he usually comes out right on schedule
    . . . Remuy is a rat-size animatronic anchored to a cart
. . . he is on a push-around food cart and does not leave it
. . . the cart makes one trip around the eatery
. . . you can take pictures, but no autographs
. . . you must wait until he comes to your table *
. . . you cannot get up and go over to him, handlers guard him
. . . if you miss him, he does not make a second trip
. . . you must wait for the next scheduled time
. . . if your ADR is near a scheduled time, be early
. . . you may not be seated on time, and will miss him
. . . you might be in line waiting for a table when he appears
. . . if so, you wait for the next scheduled trip
. . . good hint: make your ressie at least 45-minutes prior to tour time
. . . it is easy to be stuck at the podium when he makes his round

    * People gathering around the cart, it would clog the aisles. Guests
might be pressing their shorts against another guest's tabletop and
food (yuck, gross). Also, he's temperamental and occasionally
doesn't appear at all - and without prior notice
    . Could be tech
glitches or even absenteeism. There are times he breaks down
during the tour and has to stop visiting. So don't overly promise
    the little ones.

Thanks RustyScrapper! Excellent detailed information! I just realized I called Remty Ratatoulle in my title. I needed to try to fix my mistake!

Doh. Just saw the times and noticed that our reservation is for 5:20pm. Hoping we'll get seated early and still catch him! :scratchin

I would change the res to an earlier time - probably no later than 4:30. The 5:00 round is his last of the day so if you miss him you won't get to meet him. He won't stop at your table if you are in the process of being seated and if you're seated after he comes around to your section of the restaurant, he won't come back and you can't go over to see him.

edited to add: Just noticed that his last round of the day now starts at 5:00 so to be safe the res should be no later that 4:30.

Thanks mdsouth, I really hope so. I truly hated making a dining reservation so early, but I am willing to sacrifice to see Remy.
We are doing a 9:30 breakfast that morning, and then skipping lunch. I figure that should make us hungry at 4:30ish :thumbsup2

It has been reported here fairly recently that Remy's last visit at 5:20 has been moved up to 5:00 pm. Steve Soares' site, wdwent.com, which is usually very accurate is reporting this as well. The times he has listed are

We ate dinner at Chefs last Wed. ADR was 4:30 and Remy came out promptly at 5:00. The restaurant was practically empty although the park was crowded.

It had been a couple years since we've eaten at Chefs and the food wasn't as good as last time. DS8 loved Remy but I doubt we go back.
