Another question about dinning plan and staying at VWL.
We will be a party of 8 ( 6 adults, 2 kids).
Is the dinning plan really worth it for 6 days???
What about this new counter service only DP? If we did that at the price they charge it would be around $1200 for food. Seems like alot of money.
I would think we could buy groceries and eat out for less than that. We would probably eat in for 3 dinners and then do counter service the days we are at the parks. We don't plan on going to parks everyday, we want to relax at the pool.
Our only real splurge would be breakfast at Cinderella's castle.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. and if anyone has any tips about easy meals that would be great.

can you order pizza's and have them delivered to Villas?

We have done DDP and gone with preparing most meals in the villa, and it's substancially cheaper to prepare breakfasts and one meal in the villa and eat one counter service out.

We like to do the table service and signatures, so the CS DDP would not help us at all. We hardly ever eat CS. The full kitchen makes for meal prep much like home, and that's what we prefer to do. We often will buy a ham and make that with all the fixings one day and eat leftovers for the rest of the trip. We also do a fair number of pasta dishes that are quick and easy, and we sometimes use the BBQ grills provided at the DVC resorts.

Thanks for the info.
Are they gas grills or charcoal?
Where are they located at the VWL?
