Hi All! Only three weeks until our first Disney Crusie!!!:cheer2:
In Grand Cayman we have booked Capt. Marvin's half day snorkle with Stingrays until 1pm. We'd like to go to a beach after for a few hours but since it would only be for a couple of hours, we do not want to pay alot of $. Where is somewhere we could go?

We've been to GC twice and both times we spent a couple of hours at Seven Mile beach, you can take a taxi there and if I recall it was around $5/pp each way (but hopefully someone else can confirm that).

Yep go to 7 mile beach It's only about 5 minutes from the pier. There are a couple of places that rent chairs and such but you can also just go and plop down on the beach whereever.

I would recommend Sea Grape Beach, which is on Seven Mile Beach. You can choose whether to spend money or not. Chairs and umbrellas cost to rent, but there are facilities here with rest rooms, showers, etc. You can also buy food if you are hungry. If you do not want to rent the chairs, just spread out your towel and enjoy. No cost. There is a taxi stand with cabs waiting to take you back to town. You can also see some of the ships off in the distance.

Have the Marvin van driver drop you off at the public portion of 7 mile beach on your way back to town. This will save you the time of going back to town then taking a taxi back to 7 mile beach plus save you some cab money.

We have done this many times and plan to do it again next week. I give the van driver a few $ as a thank you.

Where does the Disney excursion to 7 mile actually go? Would it be near Sea Grape Beach?
