We reserved a room as a 12 gty. On our reservation it says an inside stateroom, but the number is 1050. Isn't that an oceanview room? I think we were upgraded, but am confused that the description and room number don't match.

    Can someone fill me in?

    Thanks.

Your reservation will always say the category you booked, not the category cabin you received.

For example, I booked a Cat 6 GTY, but I got 7614, which is a Cat 5. My reservation still shows Cat 6, 7614.

1050 is a Cat 9 Deluxe Oceanview. Congrats on the upgrade!

    Yes you were upgraded! Congratulations!!

The oceanview rooms on Deck 1 have two small portholes with porthole covers, instead of the one large porthole on decks 2 and higher. Just wanted you to be aware that there is a subtle difference in those rooms versus the other ones. But windows are windows, and you gotta love the natural light!
