Hi there! I have a question about room reservations at Caribbean Beach Resort, and am looking for advice and answers from "those in the know." This February, I'll be returing to WDW for the first time in 20 years --- too much of a long time away. I'm new to the whole trip planning thing, but have been trying to learn some tips on these boards. Last month, I made reservations for my husband and I to stay at CBR. We took a room with a king bed, but didn't make any other preferences. As I've been reading about the resort more in depth, I'd kinda like to stay at the Jamaica village (especially 45 or 42). And that leads me to some questions. Is it too late to make a village request? And, since I reserved at a regular room rate instead of a water view room, will I have to pay more for staying in 45 or 42? And, since I'm in a king room, are those limited to only certain villages? I've also read that CBR takes in the cheerleaders, etc., in February. Are they placed in a certain village together, or are they spread throughout? I know it's stuff that I wished I had looked into before I made the reservation. For some reason, I guess I just assumed that I could make those preferences known through online check-in, and probably that assumption is wrong. Plus, there was just so much other stuff to research that it got lost in the suffle. Any advice or answers would be very helpful to this newbie! Thanks!
