This will be the first time we have rented a car from MCO to the port. While my husband is returning the car to Budget, can I go ahead and check us both in or does he need to be there as well. Anything to speed up the process and start our vacation.

    Thanks

I checked everyone in my family in while DH hung out with the kids. Just make sure you have his passport or whatever ID he is using along with any documentation he needs to have filled out and signed (like the Bahamas immigration form).

We do this most of the time. DH drops us off at the terminal and returns the car to the rental agency and catches the shuttle back to the terminal. (Make sure he keeps ID with him) I get in line and check all of us in. They issue all of our KTTW cards and hold his. When he arrives he goes to the CM that is holding his card and shows his ID and we are on our way. Very easy.

Your husband will need a photo-id to get into the terminal...
