Sorry if this has been asked before, but I wonder whether anyone here can help. DD saw a PSP Go yesterday and it shot to the top of the Christmas list.

I wanted to check there would be no issues buying here and using it in the UK or downloading games etc? Would we be restricted to downloading games from the UK Sony site, and would this work on a US model? I'm wondering whether we would be better off getting the standard PSP?

    Thanks!

Bit early to tell yet, should be OK in theory, but never know what Sony have built in regarding downloading of games, UMD discs for games on the old PSP used to be fine to buy in the US, but not movies which had region coding.

I would wait until someone has done a first review, they may have done already, but the few I looked at did not mention downloading in the UK from a US bought machine.

    anyone else got any info?

Technically there shouldn't be an issue.
You download games for the psp go usng the same store as you do to download bits fo the ps3, and uk ps3's can download from and play bit sfrom the us and jap stores.

obv being portable, the chances are that you would be able to download from any countries store, as long as you have a login for the PSN store
