Price Increase on Spring 2017 cruises?

my easter cruise is up 11% year over year. But considering it went up about 20% from 2012-to 13 then 14...it's over $8200 for a room that started at like $5000 in 2012. Can't do it!

An update on the 4/16/17 Magic SC itinerary. TA said there was a pricing error for the 3rd passenger in the initial quote. With the adjustment, the price came down to $5,810 for 2A1C in Cat 9C.

Where the prices really jump is concierge! It used to be about $1500-$2000 higher for concierge on opening day. I priced a March 11 Eastern and cat 4a is $6800 for 4 of us. Cat V is over $16,000!!! That's $10,000 more for the same sized room but with concierge "benefits". I think we will be looking elsewhere. I can sail the same week on RC Oasis class in their highest cabin level for about $1000 per person.

April 2, 2016: 7 night Disney Fantasy Western, 2A2C, category 7A = $5397.76
April 1, 2017: 7 night Disney Fantasy Western, 2A2C, category 7A = $6358.32

Easter is March 27 in 2016 and April 16 in 2017. This is roughly an 18% increase for the same stateroom (literally, the exact same room number).

Exactly, neither date is around Easter so we are comparing apples to apples. Maybe they are going to make this a star wars cruise again so they thought they would start off higher.

I just booked April 22, 2017 on the Fantasy which is my kids "April" vacation week. We did the same cruise this year and the prices are not that different...maybe about $300 more.
