    Welcome...welcome....

Welcome to my newest TR, which I believe is now my third attempt! Sheesh! And to think just last year, I was writing my first. How time flies when you’re having fun at Disney.

This would be the continuation of my practically perfect PTR. So, was this trip practically perfect? Did I finally achieve Disney perfection? Of course not! Who has? Like any trip, there were ups and there were downs. There were lessons learned, for good and bad. There was a Dismeet for good measure, too. So, please, come along for our journey.

Thus, herewith, the briefest of possible introductions (so as not to bore all of you who have already read all about our Disney preferences and proclivities in previous accounts)...

I’m Tina (yes, check out my completely unoriginal username). I’m a teacher in CT.

Despite having had two magical trips to Disney as a child, I had forgotten how magical it can be until my husband and I took an anniversary trip in February of 2010. We truly fell under Disney’s spell. We have been blessed with an unusual set of circumstances that have allowed us to take several trips recently, with more on deck, as well acquired APs recently.

I would spend every vacation at Disney, I think. At least for the time being.

I’m the mom of an adorable four and a half year old son named Max.

He loves everything “Cars” and enjoys Peter Pan and most of the shows on Playhouse Disney. While at Disney, he loves to swim, meet new people, and ride his “straight” rides. More on that later. I cannot believe that he starts kindegarten in the fall.

And then there is my plan-phobic husband. When I bring up planning, he just throws up his hands and says, “You’ll change it five times anyway and I’ll get mad so what’s the point?”

    Oh, Club Cool, why? WHY??

After this trip, he decided that he is a die-hard Beach Club lover and I don’t know when I’ll be able to convince him to stay anywhere else. He might not be quite as into it all as I am, but he affably goes a long for the ride.

After this trip, we realized that all of us love EPCOT the most and Spaceship Earth, in particular. I suspect this may shift as Max gets older and can ride more of the 40” plus rides...yep, he’s short.

Mark and Max in line for Spaceship Earth. Yes, we take it very seriously.

We were at Disneyworld February 20-25...yes President’s Day week with Mardi Gras thrown in for good measure, so crowds were crazy, but we managed it pretty well. We stayed at the Poly...more on that later, too.

This trip was shorter than we’re used to. Until now, we’d only done Disney with a full week. This time, we would be there for a mere five days; only three of which were not travel days.

But I can honestly say that I have returned rejuvenated, relaxed, revitalized and ready to face the next six weeks. In Connecticut, March means one thing...ok, yes, it does mean March Madness...but for those of us in education, it means state testing. Not to mention one of the longest stretches of school time without a break. Coupled with lingering wintry weather with the promise of spring teasing me...and well...you have a very looooooong month.

IWhile it was far from perfect, or even practically perfect, it was fantastic and ended with a gesture that was so sweet, genuine and full of love that I could not ask for anything more. (And now you can wait until the end to find out what happened with that!)

I'm here! Can't wait to hear all about y'alls trip!

I love the picture of Mark & Max going into Spaceship Earth. So serious!

I can't believe Max will be starting kindergarten in the fall! :scared1: Reid turns 4 on the 16th of this month. I'm having a hard time with that. :sad2:

I'm in! I haven't had as much Dis time as I would like, so I will probably just read along without commenting. I have been able to read along with most TR's but those extra few seconds to stop and post haven't been happening lately. I know you understand:thumbsup2

I can't wait to hear all about the Poly. Part of me really wants to stay there but there is always something holding me back. Is it wrong that I want to hear all of your negatives so that I don't feel bad not booking it?

Yep...this will be my husband's 1st Disney race. He's so excited since ToT is his favorite ride. He runs about 7.5 miles a few times a week. So, he's working on upping his mileage along with some other training stuff. I will be at the finish line cheering for everyone while my 4 year old probably sleeps in his stroller.

:welcome: I posted a few of my phone pictures at the beginning as a tease. :rotfl:

I totally get it about Reid...it goes SO fast.

Hello and :welcome: I totally get reading and not commenting. Sometimes I either too tired or my Dis time is too short for me to comment. But it is nice to know people are reading! :goodvibes

I'm debating when to do my Poly Post. I know it has its fans, who tend to be rabid, but I don't think I'm one of them. Again, I also think it depends a lot on what you want out of a resort. We love pools, for example.

    :welcome:

You have a Max, too? :lmao: That has become quite a popular name! You clearly have good taste, too. And have a wonderful trip. Will you be doing a TR?

    Hi, Ann! :goodvibes
