Read this really excellent trip report over my morning coffee. Your grin in every photo was spectacular! You looked so happy. We are planning to do as many of the ports on our own as we can for our 12 night next summer -- can you suggest which of your sources were the most helpful? We used Rick Steves for almost all of our Baltic destinations, so I assume he's a great source. Other suggestions? Also, we have already been to Rome so we are trying to figure out a different destination for that day? Did you come across any alternatives?

Thanks again! Great Sunday morning reading! :cool1:

These are such great resources. I was inspired by Disney Falcon's ports on her own trippie that my family and I experienced all the Med ports on our own. (with the help of Rick Steve's Italy as well) It was easy and worth the savings to us.

    Thank you everyone! :lovestruc

Here's a link to our Med Cruise '11 flickr album. There's no narrative. Just keep in mind the order of the ports - Barcelona, Valletta, Palermo, Naples (went to the Amalfi Coast), Rome, La Spezia (we went to Cinque Terre), Ajaccio, Villefranche (went to St Paul de Vence).
