How do the rides compare with WDW for pooh sized riders? I had no trouble on WDW rides. RNR was a little tight but manageable.

Are the DL rides accommodating like WDW?

This is a question I would also like to know the answer. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I have never been to wdw while pooh sized so I can't compare but I am a size 20W and have not had any issues at dl. I just recommend pulling the seat belts out all the way before sitting down.

You need to be more specific than "pooh sized." Jumpin Jellyfish has a weight limit. The lap bar on Goofy's is a tight fit for tall people and people who carry their weight in their belly or legs. The lap bar on Space can be a tight fit if you carry your weight in your hips. The shoulder harness on Screamin is tight you have broad shoulders. Many people find the swings to be a tight fit. There are also come rides that are hard for people to climb in and out of, like Matterhorn, due to the size of the seating area. A small stuffed bear would have no problem on any of these rides. An adult might.

Overall it is the same as WDW. I am 5'8 and 270lbs and carry my weight in my waist and legs. I have never had an issue at DLR.

Last year when I was around 270 lbs I did not ride the swings at DCA but was able to fit in everything else. Like mentioned above, Goofy's Sky school was a very tight fit. Screamin' was ok but I felt like if I were any bigger it would be questionable as to whether the harness would click down. All rides on the Disneyland side were fine except I couldn't share a rocket with my son on Astro Orbitor which was embarrassing. Other rides were tight but still ok. For instance, Alice in Wonderland was a tight fit for my knees which probably wouldn't be the case if my back side were a little smaller, if you know what I mean! Good luck to you!

We have asked multiple times and been told Jumpin Jellyfish does not have a weight limit. I'm 5'2 260lbs and can fit on everything at DLR. Goofy's is tight as are the swings. Everything else is fine, its usually harder to fit through the turnstiles at the rides than any ride vehicles. Turning sideways to go through the turnstiles usually is easier. Anything with a seatbelt, pull the belt out all the way before you sit down. Had no problems at WDW, either.

I really wanted to try Screamin. I'm 5'2" and 235lbs., I also have knee problems, recuperating from knee replacements (been 9 months, scars are healed but my range is still low). I had a terrible ride on 7 Dwarfs Mine ride but I love the rides! Will I be able to ride Matterhorn? Is there any other I should be aware of. I don't have any interest in the swings or Goofy's Sky ride. TIA

I think you will be fine on Screamin. Matterhorn.....oh boy. Couple of potential issues there. Getting in/out isn't as easy as others. Take your time and fasten your seat belt when you stop before the lift hill. Its ROUGH. I have a bad back, and typically only ride it once in a trip. The tracks are different on each side so you may want to ride each side once. My 'average' sized friend (5'5 150lbs) also finds it to be too rough and says her back typically hurts after riding it. However, we took this year off our DLR APs and since our last trip they have added padding to the seats. I'm really hoping that helps!
