They won't be able to use them until 10,000 feet. Will need to turn them off before landing.

My 8 yr old son CANNOT fly without his PSP or DS. :rotfl:
It's just like any other portable device (MP3 player, walkman, portable DVD, laptop) turn it on when they tell you & turn it of when they tell you. We take it through security in either my laptop bag or my wife's laptop bag. We give it to him when the stewardess says it's OK to use electronic devices.

It REALLY helps keeping the kids from getting bored on the plane or in the airports. We were delayed 12 hours in Phoenix last year and it really saved the day.

All of those devices are allowed on the plane, but during take-off and landing all electronics must be turned off. Once you reach cruising altitude, the captain will make an announcement and your kids can play away.

Don't forget headphones so they can listen to the games sounds.
