Hi...we are in the planning stages for a graduation trip in 2008 and this may be a stupid question, but we are looking into doing a split stay. We know we would like part of the stay to be at the Contemporary and the other at either the pop or a mod resort. My question is can anyone tell me more info as to how to reserve these...we are going on a package and want to know it that is going to make a difference when reserving the trip. Also any additional info would be great...such as what takes place the day of our moving to our new resort and do we need to get new room keys as they are also our park tickets? I'm sorry if this is a basic question and a stupid one...but I am just beginning to become more affluent in the planning area.

I would love more details on this as well as we are thinking of doing the same thing for our 2008 vacation. We don't usually do packages so that's not an issue for us, but we're not going to rent a car on that trip so I'm wondering about moving the luggage. Can someone help us out?

We are, or were planning, a split stay with Pop and the Contemporary too, in June of 2008, however, just be advised there is going to be construction at the Contemporary in the concourse area. I don't know if that effects your decision staying there or not, but it does effect ours, we might choose the Grand Floridian instead.

When you call to book your reservation, just tell the CM what you are wanting to do. Disney should move your luggage from one resort to the other. Ideally, you will just leave for a park from one resort and then leave a park and go to the other one. I am not exactly sure how the package/dining works for all of that. I am under the impression that the dining will start over when you switch resorts. I am only thinking that because we considered that on our last trip and as a result of the dining start over we decided not to change resorts.
    Hope this helps!
