Check out the Grills; accessible through Dave's DCL tribute site on his maps of the port, there is a link to the restaurant's menus.

We went to Slow & Low Bar-B-Que last month, about 10 mins down the road in Cocoa Beach. Very very good fun an a ton of it

Be sure to try Sailors Choice, beyond the cruise slips on 401 just outside the gates to Cape Canaveral Air Force Station! Great place for the kids!

Oh, wait, on second thought, don’t bring the kids--or the folks, or your significant other. . . (unless of course you are looking for someplace that makes Hooters look like Chuckie Cheese!)

Grills Seafood Deck is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a band Wed, thur, and fri starting around 430 and sat & sun around 2p. Slow & Low is a great choice--I've had lunch there many times. The "new kid on the block" is Fishlips at the port in the Suncruz casino building. The first floor is a restaurant with small bar. Second floor has a sports bar, an outdoor/tiki bar, big deck overlooking the water. This place has good food, and a very good staff. If you have any problems, just mention it and it will be taken care of. The Cocoa Beach Pier has several restaurants, rental fishing equipment, volleyball, surfing, etc.

My favorites are definitely Grills, fishlips and Beef O'brady's (it's about 1.5 miles south of the radisson in the publix shopping plaza.) The way they discribe Beef's is a "family sports bar". The last time I was there, I wanted a wing sauce that had certain flavors in it. I mentioned it to the chef, and a few minutes later he came out with a sauce that was incredible. All 3 are family friendly and its hard not to have a good time.

Try the tuna ruben at grills--it's just like a regular ruben made with a fresh tuna steak-it's fantastic! The fish and cheese is very good too--it's like a philly cheese steak, made with mahi, or tuna.

Gotta run--I'm meeting people at grills :teeth:

We eat at Grills, for lunch, dinner, lol, and then for breakfast early the next morning, after the magic has arrived. The food is wonderful!
