Places to eat near Balboa Park?

Hello,
Looking for a few lunch and dinner restaurant recommendations near Balboa Park. Must be kid- friendly as we have 3 small children. We like to try new and unique places. Not interested in chain restaurants.

Panama 66 is located in the park. Great food, excellent San Diego beer. Located inside the sculpture garden at the museum of art, so the kids can frolic around the sculptures and you can eat a nice lunch.

Also in the park is the Prado, OK food. Wait can be long so ask to sit at the bar.

Bruno's on Park (about 4 minutes away) has excellent Neapolitan style pizza. Some of the best in the city.

S&M Meats (kid friendly I swear- even have board games) has sausages, brauts, and burgers made from a variety of animals. Located across from Bruno's. Vegetarians needs not apply.

Mama's Lebanese Bakery - gyros, fallafal, hummus, etc...

Also look at North Park and Hillcrest, both full of excellent places to eat and about 7 minutes away from the Park.

North Park is full of families so is very kid friendly, WayPoint Public might be worth checking out - they even have an indoor play area and kid friendly movies on the big screen.
