DH is on a short business trip to Tokyo. Is there somewhere he can pick up Disney Tokyo items without going into the Park?

If so, what do you recommend that would be easy to pack in his carry-on?

DD, 13 and DS, 15 would appreciate a little something . . . maybe me, too!

There are Disney stores all over Tokyo. I believe the one in Shibuya has or at least used to have at least some park merchandise (but not Duffy). That may be the case for the other stores as well but I can't recall.

Are you looking for park merch or just Japanese Disney stuff? Japanese Disney stuff is pretty much everywhere... not just in Disney stores... there's also a lot of gray market Disney merch around, especially in the 100 yen stores.

I'm not sure if you meant somewhere he could find merchandise without going out to the Resort or if you meant somewhere to find merchandise without having to pay admission and actually go into a park. If it is the latter, he could go to Bon Voyage without having to go inside the Park. It is outside of both parks, right near the exit of Maihama Station. It has a selection of park merchandise from Disneyland and DisneySea. If you were wanting Tokyo Disney Resort-specific merchandise, this would be his best bet I think. The Japanese Disney Stores are great too and do have some different things from American Disney Stores, but no TDR stuff.

[Edit] Sorry, forgot to answer the second part to the question. As far as items for carry-on, there are a ton of options. A great majority of Tokyo Disney merchandise is small enough for a carry-on. It is actually a little difficult to find larger art or collector type things. There are some cute shirts right now for both Disneyland's Halloween Party and DisneySea's 10th Anniversary. Lots of small tins of cookies/candy. If you do pins, there are some of those too (nowhere near as many as here, but I think that makes them that much more special). Not sure what you and your kids like, but he shouldn't have any trouble finding something good that will fit in a carry-on.

This is a translated link to the Japanese Disney Stores. You can see pictures of some of their items

Depending where he's staying around the Tokyo area, he might want to just go to the store. Going to Bon Voyage would involve taking 20 -40 minute train trip.

Sorry for posting late to the party . . . busy at my new job!
Thank you ALL for the suggestions.
He just did not want to have to "ENTER" the parks to buy some souvenirs.
The kids requested "pins" and maybe t-shirts.
Sounds like he will be able to purchase them around Tokyo.
