It already is in Tom Sawyer Island in Disneyland and it's dumb.

There's some deep dark rumors about where they might put it in Florida and TSI isn't it.

That would be a good idea

But in april i talked to a DT member and she said that the island is more popular in Florida than it is in Cali. so i do not think that it will go for a while

One of the problems with Pirate's Lair going into Tom Sawyer Island at MK is that in DL, the island is directly across from PoTC. At MK, this is not the case, and as a result, it would be very poor theming to have a pirate island that is nowhere near the pirate attraction (not that theming has been the most important thing for WDW executives lately...um, hello, Laugh Floor?).

I wish the would do something with TSI at WDW. It's sad the condition it's in. Those poor horses in the fort haven't been dusted in years!

At least the fort still exists. DL's was just torn down. It's been closed for years due to safety hazards with wood rot.

And I don't think TSI was more popular in Florida, it just wasn't completely rotted out the way DL's was.

i just got back from seeing the pirate layer it was prety neet especialy some of the hidden nuggets in the caves. but the one thing i like about our tom sawyer island better is that the caves are large enough for adults. there were many places that i just had to turn around because there was no way an adult could fit in there with out bumping his or her head.

That's intentional. They made it that way so there would be places only the kids could get to.

unless they re-theme all of adventureland to be more pirates...with tortuga being right across from the treehouse, its not far fetched...but what would they do with the flying carpets and tiki birds?

Yeah I'm not so keen on Adventure land becoming pirateland. I do think it would be cool to take the old discovery island and make it pirate island.
