On the 2011 cruises out of Vancouver pirate night was on day 5. Just checked our navigators. :)

Thank you - so working out that if it's the same as your cruise, it should be the Juneau day on the Friday. :thumbsup2

Just an FYI on pirate night. Ours was inside in lobby (no fireworks in Alaska) and it was cold, I dont know if its always inside in Alaska but it was for us.

Its just not the same, and Disney should consider doing something different, instead of Pirates night for the Alaskan cruises (just my opinion).

That said, it was probably our favorite Disney cruise.

Not all pirate deck parties are inside. Ours on the 7/26/11 cruise was on deck 9. It was chilly and not many people went, from what I was told by others in our party.

Yes they have. I would assume they will do the same for this year but not sure. Our Pixar Party was also inside but we didn't really go. It should be noted we still saw lots of people dressed up as Pirates :)

Pixar parties on the 2014 Alaska sailings. No pirate party or fireworks.

What about the Panama Canal crossings, are they pirate or Pixar parties?

    We cruised this past May.

Pixar night. Yet still saw plenty of Pirate outfits.

Did see a lot of really cute kids in Pixar clothes as well and some very creative adults.

Also some characters I had not seen before on the ships.

If you log in and look at your cruise info I believe under the packing section it tells you that there is Pixar night instead of pirate night & no fireworks.

We cruised last July to Alaska. It was definitely changed to Pixar night, no fireworks. I tend to remember it was a dance party afterwards:confused3 It really wasn't something that we attended. The toy story menu was at all the restaurants that night.
