Thanks, thought it would be worth the risk for a few bucks if they took them off us.

We took our "swords" onboard in our checked bags, no problem.

The first year I bought halloween costumes for the kids to wear and we bought the mickey and goofy ears with the pirate bandana from the giftshop.

The second year I bought these tee shirts after halloween that had pirate "costumes" printed on the shirt. Those were super easy. I think I found those at Walmart that year.

Third cruise we all had various skull and crossbone shirts.

My DD's and I are wearing our Holloween costumes. My DH and DS have decided to to wear Pirate tees. Piitsburgh Pirate shirts since we're from Pittsburgh, with costume hats the hope to buy on the ship.

Older boys can be soooo difficult. I would love to see my DH look like Orlando Bloom!

You get a bandana at dinner. The rest is for sale in the store, of course. It's Disney after all! ;)

The bandanas are kid size. Adults may want to bring larger ones.

DH and I wear pirate t-shirts (purchased onboard.)

Most of our costumes were off Ebay. This time last year I was keeping my eye on the costumes I liked and tried to get good deals. DH and DD were packaged costumes. I decided to get just a pirate shirt and add accessories on that I could use for other things. Seemed like a good excuse to buy boots to me!

I got some of our accessories at buycostumes with a sale/code online.
