We are three Canadian families looking for a couple more interested in a PhotoPass share in the last two weeks of April (or really early May).

I am planning to manage the CD ordering with the group but with the 80 cent Canadian dollar, we would be happy to add another family or two.

Please contact me if you are interested (any nationality welcome, we just happen to be Canadian).

Here is how a PHOTOPASS share works: (Copied from multiple posts)

    1) Get a photopass card from a photopass photographer when they take your pictures in the parks. Have fun and have lots of photopass photographers take your picture. Each photographer will scan your photopass card to add photos to your photopass card id number.

    2) When you get home, rather than create your own Photopass account on the Disney Photopass website, you will use a photopass account that is already created by The Group Leader.

    3) All the people in your group will add their photopass card IDs to this same account (Username & Password provided upon receipt of funds) on the Disney Photopass website. You can edit your photos there (add borders, crop, etc) and then once everyone in the group has added their photos and edited their pictures, The Group leader will order the CD of pictures that cost $125 plus tax and shipping. ($99 on sale preorder right now) All the members split the cost evenly. Including the cost of blank CD's and postage.

    4) Everyone's pictures will be on this CD. The Group Leader will order and will make copies for all other people in the group and mail them their copies. You can then take this CD to any photo place and get your photos developed as you wish because Disney sends a copyright release with the CD.

    5) The cost will decrease with more members in the group.

    6) There is NO LIMIT to how many pictures you can take. If a group has enough pictures to fill more than one CD, Disney will send as many additional CD's as it takes at no extra charge.

    7) The photos will need to be edited by May 9 as that willbe the cd order date.

NOTE: Sharing a CD means that strangers (the people within the group) will have a copy of your trip photos. Some people may not be comfortable with that.

IMPORTANT: From the time the first photo is loaded onto the group photopass account you must be done editing, and order the CD within 30 days. So everybody needs to get their photopass IDs added to the account as soon as possible upon their return. The sooner the better, so that everyone can get their CDs ASAP. Once we get our dates in place we will each choose our load days so all our family pics are together.

Please PM me, I would like to join in, just can't communicate as a newbie!!!

I will bump up my postings so I can return a PM!!!

I am going to be there from April 25 to May 2. I will be back home on May 3. Is there still room on your account? If so, what is the cost? And does it hurt if I am American??? ;)

    Thanks!

I am interested in joining the photo pass share group. Problem is that we do not get back from Disney until the 8th of May in the evening. Do not know if I would be able to have everything edited that quickly. Do you know if anyone else has a photo pass group for May 2nd through May 8th?

    Thanks!
    Lisa

I would think that you wouldn't necessarily need to edit your pictures on the Disney Website. You could probably do as good or a better job editing them on your computer at home once you get them. Also if you do not edit them you have the original on the CD should you ever need or want to go back and edit them differently!

We leave tomorrow and our friends are already down there. I will confirm if they have a problem waiting for an extra week. To save a little money, I certainly don't mind waiting until you return.

I don't plan to bring my computer (trying to get away from work). I will check this forum when I get back and see who still wants in and we can do the final calculation of $ and share mailing addresses.
