    Hi All :flower:

Could anyone let me know if I could use my photo provisional license for ID in the states as do not feel confident enough carrying my Passport around with me incase I lose it. I know you can use a full licence, but not sure if its the same case with a provisional.

    Many Thanks in advance
    :sunny:

    Hi Lisa,

I don't know the answer to this and I seem to remember someone else asking this recently (Queenie was it you??) and I don't remember there being a response.

    Does anyone know???

Absolutely fine for photo ID, but obviously you can't drive with it.

You need to go through the same photo and proof of identity process to get a provisional licence as you do to get a full, so they should both have the same amount of weight from an ID point of view :)

Yeah we had a provisional licence in our party last time and they accepted it no problems!
