I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything.

So if someone could explain or point me in the direction of an existing thread, I'd appreciate it.

How does Pepper Market work with the DDP?

    TIA. :goodvibes

Can't steer you to the thread but have done DDP @ PM several times. Basically, all entrees were available but ONLY certain dessert items qualified. It was still plenty of variety (even stuff that you could "save" for b'fast) . It was more the high end (KEY Lime pie/"pretty" desserts) that were excluded.

I just returned from the CSR yesterday, and we ate at the PM many times using the DP. Everything was included on the dining plan and this time there were no exclusions for dessert. The 10% gratuity is added onto the DP so you don't have to leave a tip. We shared several meals here because they give you more than enough food. The pizza station makes excellent pizza...you have to wait a while for it because the pizza is made to order.

Save you're snack credits for the parks, though. The only snack credit items were a choice of muffins, cookies, or biscuits. The cinnamon rolls and other pastries were $4.50 each and not included as a snack. This was the case at the Pepper Market as well as at Rix's.

Do you know if you could use a counter service credit to get a couple of pastries to go?

You can get the pastries as a dessert with a CS meal. Rix's Cafe is right next to the PM where you can get quick meals to go. I don't know if they'll let you use a CS credit just for a pastry, also not worth wasting a CS credit, but you could always ask.

We ate here the evening of 8/19. When seated you are given a ticket and you present that when you order and the CM stamps your card with the item you've chosen. A cast member brings your drinks and refills them. When finished you present all your cards to the cashier and they ring you up. Everything we chose for dinner and dessert was included on the dining plan. The gratuity was not an issue. As mentioned the pizza station did have a long line. Good value for a CS option.

I have only heard the Rib Eye Steak has given way to a different cut. Haven't been recently. Maybe someone else can answer you. Or you can try starting your own thread.

I saw someone's post for a different resort (don't remember which one) and their food court let them have what they called a continental breakfast with a counter service credit. It was something like 2 danishes or cinnamon rolls and a couple of drinks. That's what I was wondering if PM or the Cafe would do.

I don't know that things are necessarily taken off for free dining. The rib eye has been available the last three years for free dining and it going off the menu is something very recent. I will be there in three weeks and will take pictures of the menu and post on my return. My fear is that the rumor that PM is going to change to a buffet may, in fact, become a reality in the next year or so.

has anyone been able to get smoothie-type drinks with their CS meal at PM???

Has anyone had issues sharing one CS credit between two adults?

CS sharing is never an issue. Pepper Market portions are rather large so it is super easy to share and still have a great meal. The last time we stayed at CSR we never bought more than 2 entrees between the 4 of us.

There were no fajitas on the menu at all during our stay last week.

I did inquire about getting smoothie drinks with our CS, but unfortunately, they are not offered. You can, however, get a smoothie with your CS at the Siesta Bar & Grill by pool.

I was only there during breakfast once and didn't notice. I know at PM you were able to get a juice and coffee as part of your CS. Also, were able to choose a muffin or biscuit with your entree. I do know my dd had a cinnamon roll that was not included with CS or SC and I had to pay oop.

Sorry - I didn't mean to imply that the rib eye was taken off the menu because of free dining. I just know it's been posted (along with an image of the menu board) that the rib eye is no longer available.

This is very curious. We were just there as well but only ate at PM a couple times. The first time, our server made quite a point of informing us that the tip was not included in the DP and was not added to the bill automatically, so we should please leave cash (!!) on the table. I thought this sounded a bit strange since the stamp cards clearly stated on them that a tip would be added to the final bill. And so if that was true AND we left cash (not that we had any on us!!), wouldn't we be double tipping? Well, after DW checked out and we looked at the receipt, there was nothing listed to indicate whether a tip was or wasn't included, so we felt kind of bad that perhaps we'd stiffed the guy his tip. But, the next time we went, there was no mention of tips at all by the server, and I could swear that when we checked out I saw a "service charge" line go flying by on the receipt (though it also didn't print on our copy)-- but of course this time we DID leave some cash, thinking it wasn't included. So now I tend to think we tipped fine the first time and double the second! Something ought to be clarified here, especially if some servers are asking for cash tips! :confused3

In June, I was not on the DP, and paid the 10% at check-out. The cashier informed us that this did not include a tip for the server. I added a couple bucks, but felt a little cheated.
