:confused3My aunt was telling me that even though you are not staying on WDW property, when WDW has their EMH at night you can pay an extra price to stay at the parks. Is this true? Thanks for the info.

Not exactly. Off-site guests can't pay an extra price to visit any of the attractions during evening EMH. However, they're free to remain in the park to shop and dine. No extra payment is required. :)

    Hi,

We were just at Disney last week and for every ride for the extra hours we each had to show them our resort room card. I didn't hear or see of anything different.

I think she is talking about one of the hard ticket parties the MK offers. EMH is only for onsite Disney guests and the Hilton and Swan/Dolphin hotels.

I was thinking the same thing - she's thinking possibly of MVMCP & MNSSHP.

Before there was EEMH that is how it worked. About once a week you could pay 12.50 a person to stay in the park and extra 3 hours. If I remember correctly they only let 5000 people buy tickets. We had a lot of fun doing this.

someone is mixing memories together... at this time, you have to be a guest of a participating resort to enjoy evening emh.

Essentially it was the whole MK open for about 5000 guests which for the MK is empty. It was pretty much ride what you want as often as you want with no lines for, I believe, 3 hours.

They were called E-Ride Nights. They were a lot of fun because there was so little competition with other guests. They were only at MK in the evening though. EMH aren't quite as cool because so many more people do them, but they're free!

I only got to a couple of the E-Ticket nights. It was so much fun. The park was practically empty and nearly everything was open. My favorite memory is Chip and Dale chasing my dd and her bf around the hub at MK. We were trying to leave for the night and Chip and Dale wouldn't let them leave. They played around like that for about 20 and not one time did another family approach for pictures/autographs.

    Yes.

This correct info seems to have been lost in the thread, too.

You HAD to be a WDW Resort guest to buy an E-Ride Night ticket.

So, again, you could not "Pay to Stay Late in Parks" if you were not a WDW Resort guest.
