I am planning on going to Disneyland in February. I am able to get the 21 day visitor pass for their access system. (accessla) paratransit transportation program for Los Angeles County. The reason I can get one is that I use this system in my own city.

My question is Would they pick me up at a hotel in Anaheim and drive me to Universal studios. It says all of LA county. Do they drop off at the airport. Not able to find this information on the website. So thought I would ask here. In case anyone knows the answer.

    Thanks for your help.

here is orange county transportation authority riding access they are the bus transportation for disney land. May be they have the same aggreement as la. now if your flying into lax then that is in la county. not sure if they will pick you up at the airport and bring you to a hotel.

it looks like the same service in orange county as la county you can put in where you want to be picked up and it show you the stops. but it only list the airport i would call and ask more questions. they my just not list disney land but since they list the staples center i don't see why they wouldn't pick you up at disney and take you to unerversal.

As the PP said, it is two (or three) different bus systems between Disneyland and Universal. Also, even a direct drive in a car with no other stops, it takes close to an hour to get from Disneyland to Universal.

Access in Orange County is actually more difficult to use than other places I have lived - it is more limited and much much more crowded. I am not sure they would approve a trip between tourist attractions.

You are probably going to have to find a commercial bus service or car service to get where you want to go. There is no public transportation between the airport and Disneyland - not directly, and definitely not OCTA.

Sorry I don't have a definite answer for you, but the systems out here are very complicated, and they don't "talk" to each other. Thing are much farther apart than you would originally think.

Thanks for the replies good to know what LA County is. So I need to find Orange County. I wish when I wrote that they told me they do not do the Disneyland area. I do not need it for the parks. But I do want to go and see some other area close to Disneyland. I do know here in Canada they will take you to tourist attraction if it is in the area they service. So anyone from the US or UK that uses accessible transportation can get a short visitor pass. Thanks for your help.

OK i think I get it now. Access LA County can give the information to orange county once they have given me a rifer number. I will just book Disneyland Resort bus to get to the hotel. Much easier :)
