Packing Question

I looked everywhere on TSA's website but still can't figure out the answer to my question ...

Can AA-size batteries go in carry-on bags or just in checked bags?

They are fine in your carry-on.

I've also carried all sorts of batteries in my purse or carry on, with no problem at all. Good luck!

I can't think of why a battery would be a problem -- most of the restrictions are for liquids and sharp objects.
