We Now Resume This Trip Report in Progress: Our Wonder-ful 5 Day Cozumel Cruise

Subbing. I am considering a 5 day Western Caribbean on the Wonder next Spring Break. We have done the Fantasy and the Dream, and I just want to know that I'm not going to be disappointed.
The Dream was great, don't get me wrong. We love the Wonder because it's smaller. Sometimes I felt really lost on the Dream. They only need to update the water area (leave the pools the same but add a water feature like the aqua lab)
We might have to go on one of the bigger ships again because we want to go to Jamaica.

ood Porn Ahead! The Pirate Night menu was just ok. I had the short ribs which were very good. The crab cake was meh. Hubby didn't really care for the pasta with langoustines. The new kids healthy options aren't that appealing. I know it was sweet potato fries but I am not sure what else? It's the same menu we had the last three times. Next time we might skip and go to the buffet at 10PM for Pirate night. Instead I think we retired after dinner. They do have a showing of POTC on funnel vision but we were all wiped out.

Sorry I haven't updated in a bit! I am in the final weeks of school and graduate once again next week. I have a internship 3 days a week which has been keeping me busy too. I sure need another cruise right now!

So our next day after our Pirate night was Cozumel. We had to get up pretty early at 6:30AM because we had to meet our tour group at Studio Sea for the Tulum Ruins. We grabbed the buffet beforehand and I snapped some pics of the sunrise.

We got off the Wonder and headed down a dock where we got on our Water Jet boat and headed to Playa de Carmen for our tour bus to the Ruins. Be prepared for sea sickness if you don't take meds. The people in front of us were as pale as a sheet. The husband was sweating buckets and their twins both were throwing up. We were all fine because we were medicated. The ride is very wavy and bumpy. The tour bus ride which was a about 45 minutes didn't seem long at all. Mostly because our tour guide talked the entire way.
We made our way from the boat and had to walk through this bar to get to the town center. There was a huge tree there and native people there in custom dress. You needed to have money to take a picture with them.

After we walked a ways we came upon a gift shop at the entrance to the park where we were given our entrance tickets.

Next it was off to some trams which we were given a wrist band for and to the actual Ruins. It was up a bunch of stairs or up a ramp. Then into the vary narrow entrance. Great for short people like us but not so much for tall people.

More to come....
