Good Morning Janet and All RC Family

My new obsession is stalking JB for airfare, having only ever bought RT before it is driving me crazy not having return flights. Delta flys out of HPN too so I might check them out, we use to always fly Delta before there was a Jet Blue. :confused3

Delta is OUT no non-stop flights :(

YAY!! Great plans! And your trip overlaps with mine a little! I am getting so excited for my first F&W!!!
    Sounds awesome!!!
    Great news!!!
    YAY to 2 weeks!!!
    Morning, Janet!!!

I love the look of Royal Pacific! I hope she has a great time!

:rotfl2:That is me with Southwest and Air Tran! I priced out Jet Blue yesterday, and the fares weren't too bad...$141 down and $165 back, but it went through Boston. Nothing like flying North to go South. Right now the only thing I can find Nonstop out of PHL is USAir. I'm pretty sure SW and Air Tran will, if they ever release the darn fares!

Hope all my RCer friends have a great Thursday! :grouphug:

Sheila, my friend, WHY do you need to return from Disney? :goodvibes

Me too (on the overlapping... been to F&W once) :goodvibes

:wave2: Of course they will... they are on vaca!!! :thumbsup2 Out late at CityWalk last night... so a late start to today.... but it's all good....bring on Universal!! :cheer2:

Airfares... priced out SW this AM.... $$159 on 11/1 or Airtran $127....can't check return.... USAIR $159 down, $125 return (11/5) and you know me with connections:scared1: ...

:woohoo: for DL!!! For me, I like planning in a much shorter window...:upsidedow

:lmao::lmao: Good point on the return! Why bother???

I am so glad that you will probably be there when we are! It will be so much fun!

I am hoping we can get 3 tickets with our SW points, but the USAir fares aren't too bad. Hurry up, Southwest!!!

No wonder I am such an RCer...Here I am with a trip 3 months away, and thnking of changing resorts. :rolleyes2 I guess I can't really call offsite at DL a "resort" but still. I think that's what makes me so nervous...I am so used to so many nice onsite places, but I know DL is so different, and you don't need to be onsite (and for more than double....)
    :cool1: Sounds great!!!:thumbsup2

Hello to all the lovely ladies of RCing! :goodvibes

    Jeanette: :banana::woohoo::banana::woohoo:

Jen: Ugh, poor DD. I'm sorry she's having to deal with that sorta stuff; kids can be so mean. Give her a hug from Miss M and I  Tell her I said she's an absolutely gorgeous girl. :cutie:

Piglet's Mommy, Sheila, Janet: I'm hoping the Gods of Cheap Airfare smile upon you soon! They can be quite stingy. I keep checking SW when they announce their sales on Tuesday to see if the flights we booked have dropped; they just seem to be going up. I managed to nab $135 on the departure and $111 on the return. That's about as good as it's going to get for us, I think. :confused3

Piglet's Mommy: Oh my, MORE than double to stay on-site? :faint:

Who's up NEXT on the DISNEY PIXIE-DUST-O-MATIC?! pixiedust: Would that be our lovely Mousemommy?! :worship:

Ginny: I'm going to have to bookmark that dining link -- my 180 is soon-ish. Thanks for posting it! ::yes::

Melissa: You need a hug. And one of these, too I bet: :drinking1

    :grouphug: to all.

    Hello my lovelies!!

I am kinda super excited about a tweak we made for November. We are now cruising FIRST...November 14 three night Bahamas, and then we can take advantage of the full week of bounceback that is offered Nov 17 - 23!! :thumbsup2

Yay! Now I will join the rest of you airfare stalkers for the next release of Airtran and Southwest! Jetblue has a good fare going down on the 14 in the early morning but returning is the pits for time and price. So.....we shall wait!

    :surfweb:

Thanks Miss: DD swears it doesn't bother her, and she was just venting. :confused3 I remember putting up with such meanness in school, just wishing I could shield then from it.

Oh, and I also helped a friend of mine get a fantastic rate for their August trip to stay at the Yacht Club...through an unnamed travel agency:rolleyes1! They are seriously getting an amazing rate. They were originally staying at AOA but when I told her to google Stormalong Bay, she couldn't believe how great it looked. I like helping people...:hippie:

Anyhoo hi to everyone, and have a great day! Let's keep on top of this airfare thing!!

Phew...I am glad to hear that! My worst nightmare would be that said travel agency was not quite legit!! Sounds like it will be a fantastic trip for them though! If it was at a different time we would've jumped all over it too!!:goodvibes

Jen, so sorry I missed this post!! your DD has the right attitude with those bullies! hopefully she is venting and is not letting it get to her....bullies are cowards and need to exert power over others to get a kick... by DD being in control of the situation by not rising to the bait is the way to her own empowerment!! Kids are so cruel (girls particularly) ...hopefully this is the last of it.

:woohoo: Will make the change to the RC list...it sounds like a great CC (cruise change :upsidedow) ... and one week on the BB?? :yay:

Thank you Janet....I hope our DD's will be confident enough to let all the BS roll off.

About the Nov. plan, I am just hoping that it all falls into place! Will need some pixie dust!pixiedust:

So how do you guys figure out ADRs? I keep moving things around and then just as I think I have them set, I then decide it'd be better to go to this park on this day. Aarrgghh! How much do you pay attention to things like crowds, etc.?

Ok, so here's my list...Let me know what you think...this should give us a couple of QS/CS lunches and a couple of OOP breakfasts in the room (food we bring or use snack credits)

    8/2
    Chef Mickey's - dinner

    8/3
    Yak and Yeti - lunch
    Via Napoli - dinner

    8/4
Hollywood and Vine - breakfast (brunch)
    O'Hana - dinner

    8/5
    Le Cellier - lunch
    50's Primetime - dinner

    8/6 (our anniversary)
    Crystal Palace - breakfast
    Cinderella's Royal Table - dinner

    8/7
    The Wave - breakfast
    Rose and Crown - lunch
    Narcoossee's - dinner

    8/8

Hopefully my TA is successful. :-) oh, tried the dining link to the old site, and it worked SO much better, but it wouldn't let me link my dining plan to my reservation. Weird.

Janet Your right why come back :rotfl:

I do not like connections either only did it once but that was enough to last me a life time. Coming back from Minn/St Paul I once paid $600+ one way to avoid a connection. NW was the only carrier flying non-stop direct so they had me over a barrel.

Jenny I like your new plans :thumbsup2 I heard about the fantastic rates at YC in August a friend of mine cancelled her BB of 35% off BWI and booked YC at MV saving an additional $1000. You did a good thing for your friend! I got a good deal @ Poly since Room & Tickets were discounted now to wait and see if Disney offers
30% at Poly when Fall Rates come out as I will save more but I sorta think by Fall it will be back to 20% since all the refurbs will be complete

You have a few of my favorites on your list, Via Napoli Yum! Le Celler:thumbsup2

I am just not a fan of planning meals that require us to have to go from one Park to another as I have found bussing back and forth can be stressful. We use to always use PH but that was back before you had to make ADRs and walk ups was more the norm. As long as you leave enough time to get to your ADR (1-1 1/2hr) you should be fine.
